the WIPs...

As promised in my last post, here are some of my current WIPs. I don't have the baby blanket pictured, nor do I have Jenna's gift pictured (in case she reads this).

First up, here is my favorite project currently: Clapotis. I love this pattern, and I find myself almost obsessed with knitting "just one more row" so I can get to the drop stitch row faster. I'm currently on my fifth ball of the ribbon yarn, which concerns me a little since I only have 10, but in my head, the yardage should be plenty.

I tried to get a picture that would show the actual color clearly, but no matter what I did with the lighting or flash, the color just seems wrong.

Second, the Rabbit Tracks Scarf for my friend Dee:

I think this pattern fascinates me more than most because I almost think the WS looks more interesting than the RS. Once I finish, I will have to photograph both sides for comparison.

And finally, the perpetual project that won't be done until after Christmas: Branching Out.

Notice the black lifeline. *laughs*

I was digging through some of my stash the other day and couldn't help but finger the lovely black Knitpicks Andean Silk I have set aside to make Knitty's Tempting. Once the holidays are over, that will be my first project!
