FO and WIP
I finished Clapotis!
*does happy dance*
I decided I wasn't going to drop the stitches all the way down for the last section, just so I would have this feeling of finality as I laddered everything at the end. I know I've said before that I love this pattern... let me reiterate that. I *love* this pattern, and I'm "window shopping" some sweet Noro to make myself one after the holidays.
But here she is... I only ended up doing 10 straight sections due to being short on yarn, but the finished product is taller than I am (I'm 5'10"), and since it is for my 5'4" Mom, I think it will be plenty long enough. The only issue I had using the ribbon yarn (other than almost running out) was that it stuck to the Denises something awful... but there again, that also helped me from losing the stitches earlier.

and my major WIP... I cast on for a moebius scarf for my grandmother using Knitpicks Alpaca Cloud in Mist. This yarn is heavenly to touch, but I admit it is taking some major getting used to after dealing with the much heavier and thicker ribbon yarn. Since I have to complete 40 repeats of the pattern, and I have managed to do 2 each night, I figure in approximately 20 days the scarf will be done. This will allow me for some days of other projects and weekends where I make real progress.

The pattern was one that was taken from knittingpatterncentral.com and resides here.

What a lovely shade of pink! You are really very talented. I wish I had that much talent (and patience) when it comes to knitting. :(
I love your Clapotis - especially doubled and wrapped around your neck like in the last photo!
Such a pretty color!
Your Clapotis is gorgeous - love the yarn for the moebius scarf, looks soft even in the picture!
