Interweave preview!
I am so excited for the Spring Interweave Knits from the preview (found here if you haven't yet seen it). The Green Tea Raglan, Bonsai Tunic, Swan Lake Cardigan, and Cable-Down Raglan are already on my must knit list and I haven't even seen the patterns. The downside is that this also means I may have stupidly waited too long to buy a copy of the winter Interweave Knits... I fear that both it and the winter Vogue Knitting are probably already gone from the store shelves. This makes me sad since I haven't missed an issue of either in a long time... I just haven't had the spare cash to get them yet, nor can I get to Barnes and Noble until probably next week at the earliest.
You'd think that by now I would just have the smarts to get a subscription to both of them again (I let them lapse and didn't renew), but having smarts does not seem to be my strong suit lately!
For my birthday earlier in the month (I turned the big 3-0! wahoo!) a friend gave me an amazon giftcard and I bought a copy of Scarf Style. I've been eyeing this book for a long time because I just *love* scarves... I wear one every day during the chilly months and I just can't have enough. Perhaps I should finish Danica on knitty that I started months ago and set aside!

What a great issue, huh? I love Stefanie Japel's sweater! [she's sooo coool]
As for the winter issue, you can always buy back issues from Interweave Press.
I am SO excited for this IK! The designs are tremendous, a a complete 180 from the last spring issue, I think. Oh - and I saw the winter Vogue knitting at a book store last week, so I think you might still be able to find it?
Welcome back to blogland. ;-)
