Knit Mainea

Amy and Kate have posted pictures of the view this morning here in Maine... here is mine:

Mind you it snowed for another 4 hours after this picture was taken and the total amount of snowfall was somewhere around 14 inches here in Augusta.

I'm pondering hopping in the car, driving south and picking up Kate on the way through. Florida has to be better than this!

I didn't even bother taking pictures of our yard, I'm so sick of snow. It was knee-deep when I left my house at 7:20 this morning, and I was truly thankful that I don't have a car and didn't have to spend an hour shoveling the driveway to get to campus (and it turned out all my classes were cancelled anyway, b/c UMO didn't open until noon--not that anything was plowed on campus by then)

You poor kids! We didn't get much because we are right on the coast in Boston...

May it melt quickly! :)

ANYWHERE must be better than this. Did you see the extended forecast? 30's on next Thursday with little snowflakes pictured. WTF!

Oh, what a drag. I don't miss that part of living in New England. I hope it melts quickly and you get back to warmer temperatures. Because mud is better than snow, right??

You've gotten way more snow than us this year, it all seems to be staying south of the great lakes & blowing east.
