Where my stitches at??
So here comes the truth... the real reason that I haven't gotten much knitting done and up on the blog lately.
I have a new addiction.
The faboo Jess and her husband Casey have designed a fabulous community for knitters and crocheters called Ravelry to document projects, list stashed yarns, look through patterns, etc. Everything is linked so that you can look at a pattern on the site and be linked to the people that have knitted/ crocheted it, the yarn they used, and the comments they have on the project. You can browse other peoples' projects, leave comments, even place the pattern into your own queue. It is still under beta testing just because Jess and Casey want to make sure that the bugs are out before it becomes completely public... things like making sure it works on a variety of browsers, etc, but they are adding names to the invitation list for new beta testers.
You should totally check it out... it is awesome!

THAT does look like a great new addiction! We heard the talk about ifw moving to amhi (we think the big gray bdg), but then there's the $13 million renovation in the way. Our offices are old hospital rooms, not at all cell-like (and I'm in the hall, wide-open, love it). My friend used to have an office in the old max, it WAS a cell, narrow, and with bars (with points!) above the doorway that can be lowered....SPOOKY, but she liked it because she had a great view from the window.
